ProSoDel Expands in Caroline County

Professional Solutions Delivered LLC, or ProSoDel, is expanding in Caroline County. The company said in a news release that it is leasing more space in the Ladysmith Business Park, where it currently has its corporate headquarters and plans to add another 10 to 14 employees, doubling the current staff.

The information technology, logistics, and engineering company moved its headquarters to Caroline County from Stafford County last year. With the expansion, it will occupy about 3,500 square feet. “ProSoDel is a premiere contractor for a wide array of vital services to government and industry. It is gratifying that … ProSoDel would choose Caroline County for their location to manage and fulfill multimillion dollar contracts,” Caroline County Board of Supervisors Chairman Floyd Thomas said in a statement.

The staff hired for its new Ladysmith Integration Facility will be in direct support of a government contract, valued at $20 million over three years, that will provide unique identification marking for a logistics division of the Marine Corps Systems Command.

Ken Stroud, a retired Marine Corps logistics officer and the owner of ProSoDel, said he decided to locate to Caroline County “to leverage the highly-qualified work force available … and to give … employees a pleasant work environment that is close to home and allows them to spend more time with their families instead of commuting to and from metro D.C. every day.”
